After the sell out success of The Hunger’s debut performances in 2021, Black Bright Theatre was officially created and the artistic director and company manager set about organising a tour around northern England.
Cast
Angela Rose – DEBORAH.
We were thrilled to welcome Angela to our cohort. She is a North Eastern actor, theatre maker and drama teacher who recently graduated with distinction from LIPA’s MA Acting (Company) course, having returned to her actor training later in life.
Credits include playing Joseph K in an adaptation of Kafka’s The Trial (LIPA), co-writing/performing as Jan in Three Folks in a Boat (Off It Productions) and recently worked with Night Light Theatre CIC as Sophie in People in the Park.

Ellen Trevaskiss – MEGAN.
Ellen Trevaskiss returned to reprise her role as ‘Megan’ following her highly acclaimed performance in the debut of The Hunger.
Ellen is an actor based between Sheffield and London. She has been heavily involved in the independent theatre scene in Yorkshire, performing in Sheffield University Theatre Society alongside a number of external theatre company productions.
She is currently studying for an MA at East 15 Acting School, and is due to graduate in September 2022.
